Short term Counseling
The Centre offers short-term crisis counseling (approx. 6 visits) to people in need. Crisis services include assessment, brief counseling, follow-up planning, and referrals for long-term intervention, as required.
In exceptional circumstances, we do provide long-term counseling due to rural isolation. Our consultation services with persons who need counseling services are short term, strength based, developmental and process oriented. They identify and reveal internal strengths and resources that exist within an individual, family, or group as they occur in specific contexts. It is goal oriented and focused on finding solutions to the Challenges faced by the persons who come to us for help.
